     Gilles Lamer (1928-1997) :
Gilles Lamer, born in Baie-du-Fèbvre, Que. studied at the Montreal School of Fine Arts and the School of Fine Arts and Crafts in London, England. Settled in Spain for two years, and studied under Andres Fabregat, an exhibitor in Madrid with immense success.

He worked in Italy and Austria, under Prof.Drobroski, back in Canada he taught at the art center of Trois rivières from 1958.

Gilles Lamer, né à Baie-du-Fèbvre, Qué. a étudié à l'École des beaux-arts de Montréal et à la School of Fine Arts and Crafts de Londres, en Angleterre. Installé en Espagne pendant deux ans, et a étudié sous Andres Fabregat, un exposant à Madrid avec un immense succès.

Il travaille en Italie et en Autriche, sous la direction du Prof.Drobroski, de retour au Canada il enseigne au centre d'art de Trois rivières à partir de 1958.
