Well known western Canadian marine painter, Ronald Threlkeld Jackson was born in Hamiota, Manitoba and lived most of his life in Vancouver, British Columbia. He was a winner of the Slade School of Fine Art Duveen Award. He was a member of the International Oceanographic Foundation, the British Columbia Society of Artists*, and a founding member of the Canadian Society of Marine Artists. His works are in the collections of the Maltwood Museum (University of Victoria, B.C.), the Royal B.C. Museum (Victoria, B.C.)

Peintre marin bien connu de l'Ouest canadien, Ronald Threlkeld Jackson est né à Hamiota, au Manitoba, et a vécu la majeure partie de sa vie à Vancouver, en Colombie-Britannique. Il a remporté le prix Duveen de la Slade School of Fine Art. Il a été membre de l'International Oceanographic Foundation, de la British Columbia Society of Artists* et membre fondateur de la Canadian Society of Marine Artists.
