Jean-Charles Boivin (Born in Ottawa, January 25, 1945) - a noted contemporary Canadian artist working in Ottawa, Ontario. He is a graduate of Carleton University and University of Ottawa. The high degree of realism in is works is often accomplished by contrasting textures of smooth and rough surfaces and the artist is widely known in the Ottawa area and in Western Canadian collections. National Gallery of Canada - Library and Archives - record num: 1654.
